It's been almost two months since I've placed an order with Bella's and still I have received nothing and all communications have stopped. It's too late to file a chargeback so I'm out of luck. Reading other boards about this vendor this is common. She takes your money but keeps you on the line with excuse after excuse why it didn't ship yet and has an additude as if she is doing you a favor by selling you her tarts!
I love that she has all the time in the world to post on Facebook about TV shows, gambleling in Atlantic City and nonsense but she has no time to fill an order I paid her for! I didn't catch it because WIYB deleted it all but Bella's is pretty much a done deal for me. On a side note I wonder if the mods overthere get kickbacks for protecting their favs!They also deleted a member for speaking out. I am glad you opened this up. I think the world should know what a dishonest vendor Bella candles n tarts is. If I can save one person from losing their money then I didn't waste my time typing this here.

Thats why I started this, that and a drawer full of just ok tarts.
I have seen comments made by vendors about sending things and extra samples to mods on WIYB, could just be with orders or whatever but the implication has been made so I can see where people got that idea whether it's 'accurate' or not. I had that impression long before that Bella conversation took place. Vendors often send samples to bloggers etc, who will be talking about their products.
I saw some of the Bella conversation before it was deleted, (she has a sick child...yada yada..) and they were really defensive of her. I've seen way to many problems about Bella around.
That is the reason I haven't plugged this page over there (yet). Actually I'm just not comfortable posting, they are far to sensitive to questions about quality ;o)
I think there are plenty of women on WIYB who have opinions they'd like to share tho.

I've never had a problem with the cs from Bella and I love their tarts. Great unique blends and strongly scented too.

Please don't take this the wrong way but it must be nice to get what you paid for, you are one of the few lucky ones : ) So far I've counted about 25 or so complaints on various boards about Bella's plus the 5 complaints with the BBB. It looks like her entire profile was deleted at her request from Candlefind because of all the negative reviews in the past and I just found out she used to be another business Candles By Candy then changed her name due bad reputation from same unethical business practices from years past.
My order may have been small, under $50.00 ,but this is nonsense. It makes me not want to take the risk of shopping online period. Where is your recourse when you waited too long to file a chargeback? I'll tell everyone I know, and even some I don't what a sleeze and a theif Candy Hagman Hunt of Bella's Candles n tarts is!

I ordered once (more recently since I've found WIYB). I kinda got called out on WIYB for posting my thoughts, but .... the tarts were fine, I didn't love all the scents but liked many. The throw was fine too. I got small cups and she upgraded many of them, which was very generous. I personally thought the labels/tarts were more for personal use than for gift giving - a lot of the labels were hand written, one of the scents was misspelled, and one label was cut off so missing part of the name.
Later on I found out Bella's was formerly Candles by Candy, and I was kind of upset that no one had thought to tell anyone - because I would not have ordered period, based on friends/people I knew who had gotten bad deals with her previously.

I actually really liked the blends, and my tarts from the 2 orders I placed were very strong. I agree with Kimm though, that the presentation left much to be desired. The labels were not consistent, hand-written or sloppy looking. But the history of bad CS and the way the WIYB page treated the whole thing left me with a bad taste, and reading about other people's CS problems, makes me not want to order again.

Kind of off topic, but if her child has such severe respiratory type problems making candles and tarts in her home might not be a very good idea.

I read about this candle company on MUA, it's crazy. Sorry this happened to you. It's a shame. I would go to the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint. Not that they can get your money back but at least it will go on record.

Attended New Years Eve party last year and the hostess had some tarts melting and it was quite lovely. I was impressed and I am not easily impressed. Will order when I need some treats.

You're a brave girl Margot. If this vendor was the last place to buy tarts I would not risk an order after reading all the nightmares. I work too hard for my money. But to each their own,good luck.

I am getting my 3rd order from Candy today. There was quite a bit of a delay, but I have been happy with her tarts. She certainly has a knack for tart-making. I had an issue with her when she was Candles by Candy, but have been pleased so far with Bella's. I will continue to order most likely, especially her samplers.

I am a slave to Candy at Bellas. Yes, I have waited a while for my stash but she kept in touch with me which tells me she cares about what I am thinking. I have placed 3 or 4 orders I believe. I will be back because her tarts are strong and her presentation is really good. Her dear son is sick now, I do believe her too. I called my church prayer line and requested prayers for him.

I never had a problem with Bella's. So far I've ordered twice with her and each time got my order in a timely manner and the tarts were really good. I love her scent list and her blends are great! I know some of you have problems with Bella's, and I'm sorry that happened to you. I would be pissed too. I'm just leaving "my" review.

I didn't have any problems with my order. I received in a timely manner and liked a good bit of the tarts I ordered. I loved that she upgraded about half if not more of my tarts to 2 oz cups. I would love to order from her again if there wasn't such a negative buzz about the company.

I've never had a problem with Bella's. Her TAT for custom orders is a bit on the long side but she also offers pre-made tarts that are ready to ship with 48 hours which is nice. I really love her Vanilla Poundcake, Butter Cake & Cinnamon Frosting scents! I will continue to be a loyal, repeat customer.

Communication was almost non existent. When I did get ahold of her,it was as if she was doing me a favor by filling my order,that was long over due.
She said life was hectic,got a sick kid etc. But was on FB quite a bit for the world to see.
Labels were hand written sloppy. I had tarts with oils and colors that were leaking out of the cups.
Scents were great its just customer service and a product that is just not up to par.

I had ordered once from this company and was expecting a lot of it since it was an international order. SInce I've ordered I heard nothing about it. When I contacted her it was almost a favor that she helped me because of that international "thing". Must admit that some of the scents were great but the packaging was "sloppy", handwritten labels and from some tarts the oil was leaking out. The biggest thing was that when I emailed her asking about my order and why it took so long she was very angry, used the capslockbutton (if you know what I mean ;). So I thought never again due to the very bad CS. So important when you want to order!! I realized at that time how important CS is and how important it is how ypu present your company by presenting products (whether you're a natonal customer or an international).

Sorry that alot of people seem to have problems with Bella's.She is actually one of my favorites.I've never had a problem with her TAT and with the Ready To Ship items I normally get my order within 3 days.Her tarts have an amazing throw to them and I love that she has very unique blends.I have had a few leak oil and the labels have been handwriiten so for gift giving I would maybe ask her to print the labels.She has always emailed me back in a timely fashion for any questions.Love her samplers for the different Holidays.

I'm so disappointed :( I want to order so bad from this vendor, as her scent list looks amazing, but probably won't due to all the bad reviews on her customer service :( She should really put more of an effort into her company.

I base my opinions on MY experience and if you choose not to order you will miss out on some amazing and unique scents that are not offered elsewhere..

I have ordered twice from Bella's, both times during different bark sales. TAT is long, but she is up front about that on her webpage. From the reviews here I am guessing that she has improved her CS and everything since changing her name and maybe her kid got better. I am sorry for everyone who had a bad experience with her, but I get the feeling thing's have improved recently. Everything I have gotten from her has smelled amazing: Shamrock Shake, Strawberry Coconut Cake, Country Berry Hotcakes, Honey Butter Buns, Captain Crunch Berries Cereal, No Spice Pumpkin Pie, and Italian Bread Pudding.
About a week after I ordered I asked if I could add stuff to my order even though her sale had ended and she said no problem and I was able to add 4 more bark orders which she doubled to the 1 lb. for the sale. Communication was outstanding and super fast and she was super friendly. I would recommend everyone try out this vendor because she has a phenomenal scent list and in my experience excellent CS.
